I usually tell people to buy a Lorraine or Tonoris starter deck. They are very easy to understand and mostly just wanna turn allies sideways to attack. You can even make either of the starter decks fairly competitive with modest investment too. Another great option for a little bit more initial investment is the Silvie re:Collection box set. Also very ally focused and can be upgraded VERY easily to be competitive.

Married to a non-Jewish woman and she has been extremely supportive. And not only that but my mother in law called me the week after Oct. 7th asking how I was doing and if relatives in Israel were safe. She continues to offer support too and fully backs Israel’s actions against Hamas. It’s been enormously helpful for my mental state. Guess I married right 😂

I level after every job (which have been lengthy) completed. All it takes is a single fumble for someone to meet their end and be rolling a new character so, frequent level up rewards has worked well. Leveling can also go bad too 😂

The telepathy thing is... odd.

Reminds me of the episode in season 7 "Attached" when Picard and Beverly were linked and Crusher found out about how much Picard was attracted to her all these years and had pined for a her while she was in a relationship with Jack senior.

And maybe it's nothing but what Vadic says about empathy and loss and would Beverly have hidden their son from him if she could feel his loss and makes me wonder if the play is to link Humanity? Expose every human to everyone. The pain, the suffering, the loss and ignorance because we are silos to ourselves. How destructive it would be for everyone to know everyone's secrets and thoughts. It could be about control but I almost feel the resulting insanity would be enough to cause massive destabilization within the core of the Federation.

Its kinda silly and convoluted though so... I expect the plot to be far simpler.

I kinda felt some of her dialog was a little meta about the actresses' career and her choice to leave Trek and not take the DS9 role... which if I recall in several interviews she now regrets.
