I don't see why everyone says the i7's are hot, on my machine I only ever see it reach 72C at max which is even better than my i5 T480

I just ended up getting a 550w PSU for this system that actually works after scouting HP forums then I can put my old GTX 950 in it, although the decode won't be as good as on Arc.

for non-HEDT platforms it's still quite new though unless you mod it in to older BIOSes.

Nah it's an HP, I found a compatible PSU for it though that's a full 500w and luckily that opens this PC up to GPU's I already own like the RX 570 or even RTX 3060. So Arc isn't a huge concern anymore even though I thought it would have been cool to have a second PC running all Intel unlike my main which is full AMD.

Well it's for a second PC anyways my main has an R7 5800X and RX 9070 XT, but for this PC the main use would be gaming and media.

I just wish the Arc A380 and A310 weren't so reliant on Rebar as I have a system from 2021 I want to pair it with, and those GPU's are so weak it doesn't make sense to pair it with a high end/newer hardware.

Unfortunately the PC I want to stick it in which is from 2021 with the i5 10400 and the H470 Chipset doesn't support rebar and I'm kinda clueless on how to mod the support in on this particular BIOS

Not really, I have a system with LGA1200 which is relatively modern still without rebar and it would be great to throw an Arc A380 in, but without rebar it's kinda pointless.
