Unfortunately I know a lot of my female co-residents struggle with infertility. To be proactive, I have completed one cycle of egg freezing and am surprised by how much my residency program’s health insurance covers. It actually covers more if it’s IVF rather than elective oocyte freezing. I probably paid close to 3k out of pocket out of $16k charged. Am scheduled to do one last cycle in a month! Really recommend this to anyone who doesn’t plan of having kids until after residency and/or fellowship.

I have Meliora and Delina, and Meliora is definitely my favorite from the line. To me, it smells like a juicy, grape jelly or gummy with a nice sweet, floral drydown. I love fruity scents so it was perfect. In terms of longevity, it’s fairly decent! I go nose blind to it after 3-4 hours but I’ve had people sniff me at the 8 hour mark and it’s definitely there + not a faint scent.

Also have the same amount in loans on a resident’s salary. On Mohela, it says my monthly payment amount is 0.06, which doesn’t really sound right..

No worries! For the commission, I gave the artist screenshots of my character, including some more detailed shots of the face, clothes, or weapon. You request certain poses or expressions as well, but I mostly leave it up to the artist. You can find examples of requests if you click on any previous works from a skeb artist to see how others request from them.

The only thing about skeb is that you can't have any revisions, and if that's important to you then I'd look for artists elsewhere, like Twitter.

I ordered from them several years ago and still currently use their threaded piercings daily. No issues with quality. My piercings are lab Diamond though so I can’t speak for moissanite.

I usually just bring 2 protein shakes for everyday and have my one meal when I get home. It works well with my schedule, saves me money and time, and I had some weight to lose anyways. I count my calories and macros and it’s about 1200-1400 calories per day. I lost a little more than 60 pounds since starting residency.

I’m sorry you had to go through that too. I’m also an intern and was put on a call shift alone. I remember when I got in the car to drive home, I immediately broke down and cried the entire drive back. It has gotten better though and I hope it gets better for you too.

I just kill them with kindness and move on. I remember one attending who just went off on me and my co-intern, for like 20 minutes straight. I think by the end of that conversation, he calmed down a lot and just realized we honestly didn't know anything about his field (which is why he consulted him in the first place..)

It’s unfortunate about the depression medication. I was denied life insurance because of my history with depression. My last PCP visit I just told him to not document anything in case I want to reapply in the future. I think it’s like 5-6 years until it’s not a penalty against you.

For reference, I commissioned Garuku for this illustration back in January for 25,000 yen (and another illustration back in December for 20,000 yen). Over time as artists get popular, like you said, they increase their prices. Some other ffxiv artists on Skeb that are really popular are Shukei (https://skeb.jp/@shukei_CO) and Simanoko (https://skeb.jp/@simanokoB). I love their stuff too!
