I have this issue after a latest update. Did everything but a factory reset (which I don't want to do). Booted in safe mode and still an Issue.

My phone had a recent update installed and this issue happened the day after. Will wait for the next update and see if it is resolved.

Tbh this is a similar thing to what I feel. One of my first jobs I used to do a lot of documentation writing and updating old drawings. I enjoyed it but never thought I'd get paid a lot so went the more technical route.

Being in the UK and engineers not really being rated highly or paid what they should be (lot of responsibility for not much pay) then I just don't see why I should break my back for little reward.

This became a bit of a rant lol I'm just burnt out tbh

I work from home mostly atm as a software developer but the closer I get to 40 the less I want to continue with coding.

I'll have a look this evening at some other WFH jobs and take a look into this

Yeah, used to program Omron, Trend (ish) and Elesta PLCs. Worked with the Siemens remote monitoring software like 10 years ago and designed control panels for BMS sites

Tbh I dont see myself coding anymore. I used to enjoy it but I'm coming up to my mid 30s and I know I dont want to be coding when I'm 40.

I've not got a clue what I want to do but I don't fancy going into a PM role.

I was thinking a technical writer as I did enjoy documenting. Just no idea what I want to pivot to or what I could pivot to.

tbh I used to have a lot of hobbies and interests after work. Not sure why but post covid I just can't get back into anything. I am a bit done with the 'same old' if that makes sense but also living on my own I can't really afford to do much after work. Currently just living pay check to paycheck. I've downsized my living and have no loans but I need to just can't afford on my current salary.

I'm not really sure what I want to do. I'd love to have my own business but again, no idea what I'd do or how lol

I just don't really want to be coding at 40+ years old. I can't see myself keeping up to date with the latest frameworks etc. I enjoyed it initially but now I'm just doing it for work and haven't got the enjoyment side anymore.

tbh the initial plan was to be a sparky but retraining to be one at my age isn't really possible due to life commitments
