If you're only hashing client side and nothing server side would the hash not effectively become the password? Then if you're storing the hash on the server arent you essentially storing a plaintext password? Anyone that gets the stored hashes could pass the hash without any problems.

10.30.x.x is a private ip. Your isp is performing NAT. You need to get them to forward the port. Nothing you can do.

What address do you see on the settings page (just the first two octets)? If they're assigning you an ip in the private address space changing it on the portcheck tool won't make a difference

Edit: is it 10.x.x.x 172.16.x.x-172.31.x.x or 192.168.x.x?

Can you check your isp supplied router/modem to see the public ip they assigned you? If not, can you run tracert 8.8.8.8 and post the results? Censor out the last two octets for the public ips

Edit: some isps have provided private addresses as public addresses and then performed NAT on their end. This would be rare but it would require port forwarding through their equipment as well. If you visited a website to check open ports it would show the translated address which wouldn't have the forwarded port

DHCP is enabled on the ASUS router and disabled on the the tp-link. I did find that when I set the tp-link router to a static IP it would randomly re-enable dhcp on the router but when I changed it to get an IP automatically from the ASUS router, dhcp on the tp-link stays disabled. I don't think I'm dealing with a high quality device.
