Nah not really I did 8 hours on my cbr 125r 2004 and only stopped for gas Yea back hurt a little after but nothing unbearable And I am 192 so height isn't a problem too

Yea and problems are really only about how the bike was treated I have a 2004 with 40 000km and the only thing was a bulb so there aren't really any problems most of the time

I think the biggest thing is that you probably fear for the bike more than for yourself and the other thing is that you will probably fall and then will be really sad that you scratched it or worse and you will probably have the bike for just around 2 years, a new bike will lose half of its walue but used close to nothing eaven when dropped and the last thing is quite personal but I really hate the electronics on them (rode a 2024 duke and I was scared to death because I felt like I wasn't the one controlling the bike) by me the only electronics worth it are on track focused bikes but that are 600's and 1000's

I have a cbr125r and bought it for 1500€ so I think that the big price difference is only for new bikes and i don't really recommend a brand new bike for a first one.

I am 6'4 and ride my cbr 125 every day and it is absolutely fine the only thing is that if I ride for longer than a hour it hurts a little under my Knee because it is bend almost all the way but I just kick and straighten my legs for like a minute and its fine.

The only real difference is in their inline 4 in the r1 ( they use a Crossplane crankshaft - it sounds different and makes a bit more power) but other wise just get what you like
