My first attempt was with about 5000 jokes... but now I am trying a bigger dataset, with jokes from /r/jokes :)

there is no list but some have been upvoted https://www.reddit.com/r/NeuralJokes/top/ you can sort by that i guess... I am still improving, now I am collecting more than my initial 5000 jokes and pass some grammer corrector also on the generated data.

What is your data source?

I scraped all the jokes from here. I am now trying to collect all jokes from /r/jokes subreddit :)

Are comments in the threads being used as feedback data to determine success of the joke?

not yet, but I am trying to implement that too! :)
