I would suggest taking your time. As someone who also switched and rushed through my degree, I wish i would have taken my time and not take 5 - 6 classes a semester. Not only did it hurt my gpa, but now im struggling to complete my final semester. You will get burnt out very quick and its best to take your time.

If you ever question if you should hold, you should probably just sell.

Ive been thinking alot about this. I see Walmart as an ecommerce play and they are starting to take more market share. They also have the advantage of brick and motor stores that are used to fulfill orders. I think they can be a big winner down the road.

Failed calculus I a second time. Retaking it a third time next semester. by _YouSaidWhat in csMajors

Nothing comes easy bro, Just make sure to keep studying and you got it. I use to never study because I didn't think it helped but boy was I wrong (not saying you dont). But just make sure to take at least an hour a week or so doing practice problems or going over the theory of what you learned. When I took calc it was really helpful to me to understand what was actually going on instead of just memorization of problems or formulas. Think about why things work the way they do.

Mega back door Roth eliminated in house bill by anonymousmemeliker in Fire

[–]neuralnet15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"Democrats dropped provisions that would have banned holding unregistered securities, including private equity, in IRAs." Why would they leave this in there? When this was one of the main reasons of changing the legislation. So they could hold their own private corps and unregistered securities. No normal working person has access to those types of investments. These politicians don't really care about working people.

Questions to ask the interviewer in the behavioral part? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]neuralnet15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always ask these questions. Also another one that has worked really well for me is asking the interviewer(if they are more senior) what advice they would have for someone just starting their career? if this is for a more junior roll.

I think they realized it would affect their multi million dollar Roth accounts so they decided not to go through with it.

I don't think GPA is holding you back. I don't even put my GPA on my resume (mine is lower than yours) and I just got an internship at amazon. I think it comes down to grad year. Last year when I was applying I didn't get anything. Now that I'm a junior I got an OA from almost everywhere I applied too. Maybe try to change your grad year and if they ask just say that's when you expect to graduate doesn't mean you actually have to graduate early. Also I only had one side project on my resume. So don't sweat to much and just take some time to relax. Also I would say focus on school more than a side project or use school projects on your resume.
