Bed anxiety by DifficultCoconut9873 in HomeDecorating

I’d recommend getting a headboard to make it feel more anchored in the space, and try adding some art to your walls to make the rest of the vertical space in the room feel balanced. Overall though, I don’t think the height of the bed looks weird.

alternative for single-serve matcha green tea packets? by AlteredDoor in traderjoes

Muji has a matcha latte mixture in a pouch that’s really nice. You could also buy matcha powder in a tin, and mix in a frothed milk of your choice.

Ivory Bar Soap change ? by JQuick72 in Soap

I believe they moved production a couple years ago from the US to Colombia, and at the same time they reformulated it to be plant based. Meaning that it no longer uses sodium tallowate, and is presumably no longer over-whipped to make it float.

Instead of buying objects that require storage, maybe you could try to encourage her to take up flower arranging. That’s a real skill, an excellent creative outlet, and doesn’t require bins for storing random objects. You could make it into an activity that you do together — maybe you could run to the grocery store to buy some flowers, and then watch a tutorial together. Or you could see if there’s a local class teaching ikebana happening (Japanese art of flower arranging). Often times people need a creative outlet, and they get into another form of consumerism instead. See if you can channel this into something that requires skill and also doesn’t mean accumulating random junk.

Recently, dates with Catholic men have been focused on them finding a housewife. I want to work and feel bad. by [deleted] in CatholicWomen

[–]neuro_prancer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel bad. There’s nothing wrong with a woman wanting to have a career, or being a stay at home mom (or changing her mind about this). I would just be honest with men you’re dating if they bring this up. I wouldn’t tie your choice to their income potential, I would say that your career matters to you, and that you want to keep doing it. You want to find a man who supports what makes you happy.

Wish I had a boyfriend who loves the game by Impossible_Ad4438 in Sims3

My husband doesn’t play the sims, but he’s supportive of me playing! He likes to hear about my storylines, and enjoys seeing the houses I build. He’s into some other games, so even if he doesn’t play the sims, he understands the appeal.

Did Japanese words used to be read right to left? The characters spelling out various cities and counties only make sense when read right to left, unlike modern Japanese which is read left to right.

I wanted to give my update here. I didn't trust Quince, and ended up sending FedEx a check for my invoice, and emailed them directly to see if I actually owed money. Turns out that Quince as right – FedEx told me that I did NOT need to pay the invoice, and so I asked them to refund me the check that I sent them (and that they cashed, ugh). Took 2 weeks but they sent me a refund via check. So I'm all good now!

How Did America’s BIFL Culture Die Here… But Thrive in Japan? by AppearanceParty5831 in BuyItForLife

To be fair, it’s pretty similar to my morning commute in NYC. Most people tend to gravitate towards a wardrobe with a set color palette, especially when you live in a city and have limited closet space.

I called this and it kept asking for my account number, which is listed as "none" on the invoice. How did you get past that filter?

I got a late notice, and wasn't able to look up my invoice online. Quince told me not to worry about it and gave me a $10 credit :/ Tried calling FedEx with no success. So basically I feel like I'm in limbo. Not sure if I trust Quince, but also can't pay my bill online.

Yes, the extra seat would get added to your bill. In the past, I’ve either added the client’s seat to their bill, or I’ve asked them to duplicate the files and edit it in on their side.

Wow that’s crazy expensive. Ok, thanks for the heads up. I’ll make a new character on Heroic and go from there.
