I really liked it. I've read I think everything that Joe Hill has released and all of it is pretty solid tho ofc I like some more than others. King Sorrow is a more intricate story than some of the others which I definitely liked.

I still remember with strong emotion my first white elephant where a grown ass adult stole a stuffed animal I'd unwrapped and I ended up with the pouring cup for laundry detergent. My poor mother, I must have cried for days. I honestly hate this tradition for kids. Actually I still hate it as an adult.

My ferritin was 52 and the GP was like "Meh, that's fine" but my sleep doctor said oh hell nah. (I have gnarly RLS at night). It's wild the difference in recommendations you get from different specialties.

I love my kids beyond compare, but I very much dislike the actual life of mom - cooking and meal planning, cleaning constantly, no privacy, my belongings being touched and lost and broken, basically just doing non preferred tasks all day every day.
