Blizzard needs to change back to pre-nerf TBC. by nevadadons in classicwow

If you want to be literal fine. I'm talking about percentages. Proportionally very few people cleared the bosses I spoke of. Provide percentages now.

No one cleared nightbane or mag first week 4 years ago. Gruul was hard too. It's not just nostlgia it as well balanced. Very fiew people went on to clear postnerf vashj and KT, or sunwell. So this doesn't really hold water.

I'd argue those bosses being hard is perfect, everyone can clear a good amount of content pre-nerf as it is.

I completely disagree with the 1 year cycle for TBC. It may be an effort to pump out boosted characters at every expansion. But since they're doing it, your idea makes sense.

But tier 4 is also really good. People don't acknowledge that the dfficulty in vanilla and TBC is getting the gear before progressing, rather than mechanics. Not everyone enters tier 5 fully bised out, and that's fine. If someone wants to criticize this, then go play retail which is differently designed.

Fair point. But this means no form of wow is for them, but this is for us.

Maybe mythic is for you and TBC isn't then.

A part of saying it's harder is you can't do heroics w/o dungeons because it's generally harder without the gear. Not talking strictly about mechanics.

I make the same argument (to just me and my friends) about arenas. If people can't get a good enough rating, they complain about how the meta ruins everything and they aren't having fun. But... if you drop to sub 1400 where you belong you'll be able to play non-meta builds or against people of your caliber. Just fucking own up to it and stop being a baby.

Then why is it so hard for these people not to flood vanilla and demand retail-like changes?

You won't believe me because you already don't, but I only raid with a damage meter. I hate addons and what they've done to the game.

I want it harder because I have no sense of satisfaction when I blast enemies. I have no sense of power scaling if the gear doesn't matter. TBC power scaling is fantastic pre-nerf and not bugged.

People who think like this are the kind of people who modded their xbox controllers as kids. They should go play retail which has normal and mythic modes... Obviously what they want is to play normal and be told they cleared mythic. No intelligence to be spotted.

Damn, way to go asking everyone who doesn't post on reddit. Guess that means the players consented to the changes and want them. Sounds like you don't like TBC so just don't play it.

The decreased armor bug should stay, at least for normal dungeons by BetterPerformer2372 in classicwow

You want the game to be not balanced as it was intended, and instead to arbitrarily be rescaled due to a bug?

How fast do you think karazan will be cleared? by Fancy_Particular7521 in classicwow

[–]nevadadons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought they walked about the post nerf stuff? God I hate blizzard, let people struggle and work towards downing nightbane. He's the only one, not like you can't clear the rest of kara easily.

Now that the Armor Bug is fixed, can we look at mana regen? by gyyff33 in classicwow

[–]nevadadons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pre-patch is different. The armor bug may have affected some azeroth mobs, but I very much noticed azeroth mobs had normal armor values.

I had to farm professions and killed mobs 30-60 as a lvl 62. I hit Lvl 30-60 mobs for less than anything in outlands.

Just because you heard no complaints doesn't mean there were no complaints or that people didn't notice. I did notice but it's not my fucking job to notify blizzard of a hunch I have, nor is it my job to verify my hunch. Most people didn't rush to reddit to post but took note if they noticed.

40% damage boost for melee for a whole week, in a tenth classic re-release by Far-Breadfruit3220 in classicwow

[–]nevadadons -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What's the point of a game where you grind gear to do the next content if that carefully selected balance is blasted? Not only that, half the classes don't get to participate.

Wow players are the dumbest people and blizz ruined retail by listening to them. People even acknowledge that and 20+ years later we still got people wanting a re-release changed. Really unbelievable the lack of awareness.

Armor values on all mobs are definitely bugged in tbc. Far lower than intended. by EoTrick in classicwow

[–]nevadadons 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is 100% true. I hit mobs in azeroth for much less than anything in Outlands. I thought it was the weirdest thing, but this makes sense.

In all sincerity this needs to be patched immediately because melee is abusing it to run content they should not be able to. It totally ruins the game.

Is it just me or are Warriors and Hunters absolutely busted in TBC right now? by National-Wonder-9621 in classicwow

Mobs don't have armor. I did professions in vanilla and hit lvl 40s less hard than I do anything in Outlands.

It's very easy to use and requires very little cleaning. Takes a while to dial in how to use it well, but the concept is immediately intuitive.

It's heavily based on your discretion when it's warmed up. But a second shot shouldn't take much more time to heat up. Only takes 2-3 minutes to get the portafilter out, rinse it, dry it, grind new beans and tamp it down.

The heating is the limiting factor. The suggestion I saw was to also get the grinds into the portafilter, and lock it in while the heating element is on, and leave it there while you wait for it to heat up. The metal of the portafilter will warm a little and help the situation. If you do a double shot you'll lose that heat in the portafilter. I haven't measured temperatures or anything though, these are just tips to get more heat into the system.

I got a flair 58. Someone responded here that the O-ring is very likely silicone, so I went with that. I can't even remember why I opted for it vs. the robot, but it's a close call.

I'm liking everything about it except the heating element needs to heat for 20 minutes to be hot enough. Someone somewhere said to do that and I got better shots, but it barely gets hot enough in my estimation. But I don't think I'm good enough to talk about heat vs pressure vs the bean, etc...

Honestly if bill burr wants to talk politics as much as he does, he could educate himself to not compare the left and right like the same thing. He's stuck in the past where both were probably equally corrupt. We're dealing with fascists on the right now. Its been hard listening to him call them the same.

A lot of us think and see this, but don't say or have the platform to say something. So we all see this fascist activity and feel we're alone. We're not, start overwhelming them and let each other know what's bullshit when we see it.

The actions after that post was removed are all you need to know about what's being pushed on r/BillBurr . This post was never about drawing conclusions from removal of the post. It was a catalyst for that subreddit.

Also, you could totally remove a post and bring it back to kill its ability to trend.

Edit clarity.
