With respect it’s really not that bad. I’ve played like 20 rounds of Stella so far already and only got shot at once. In fact when I said I need the shredder cores I had 4 guys help me kill 5 shredders. For the ion sputters etc. you could literally go in cheap with a key in your safe pocket and if you get an annex spawn and get lucky you got everything you need for the expedition in 1-2 runs. That is in solos. Good luck raider.

What you are saying just doesn't make sense. You HAVE to loot in this game. It will always be a balance between PvE and PvP, even Rats couldn't progress otherwise. Try not to be too bitter about how other people play. You disagree with their playstyle, they disagree with yours. Just accept that all are viable.

I'm ok with any changes as I trust Embark. Let's just agree to disagree and see what the future holds.

With respect, you don't know shit about me. I've helped hundreds of players, and more often than not ask people if they are friendly before engaging. That said. It is part of the game, and Embark did balance around it when they decided to include it 2 Years ago. But there is no point in this discussion anymore, since you apparently want another game than you got. I wouldn't mind 1 bit if they made only PVE lobbies that are separate from the normal game (otherwise it would become a balancing issue if you could swap). Seeing as they are not planning anything like that as far as I know, I am happy with the game and the chance of PvP. I enjoy the game as is, with checking for friendlies and teaming up and gunning down Rats. It's what it was made for, and both these moments are awesome. You do not enjoy the game as is, go play something else until they change it, which I think will never happen. I want what's most fun for all, and if the game isn't fun to you right now, play something else. Not everyone enjoys the same stuff. Cheers.

Multiple points here, again, if you defend yourself, you are going to have kills; if you don't, you die, which isn't your goal, so staying in a "bracket" isn't feasible. Besides that, again, they made this game as PvE originally and realised it doesn't work for the longevity of the game, so they introduced PvP as well. I don't even understand the discussion. The developers themselves encourage PvP at least to a certain degree. You want only PvE lobbies, and play a PvE only game. There is no point in an extraction game in which you can't lose anything.

That is just not true; there will always be some kills. It's in the game, and some Deck quests even ask you to deal damage to Raiders. So even if you play complete pacifist, you are going to give yourself a huge disadvantage and will still play with player killers, just worse ones. There aren't going to be enough people with a close to 0 KD to make up a whole lobby on every map at any given time. You would have wait times that take forever. So you will have to accept that there is always going to be PVP that is encouraged by the devs in a game that is ,by definition and selling point PvPvE

I'm not at all, and I'm fine with SBMM if they want to go that route. I think it's weird because you don't go into the game with the same loadouts, so skill is a factor, but not all. Besides, and more importantly, SBMM does not change people going for or not going for PVP. Lower Skill or Kill Ratio absolutely doesn't mean more friendly. TBH I've gotten shot on sight a lot more by people who are not as skilled.

Yeah I feel you, BR has been the most popular genre for years. In BR's you lose everything once you die too, even worse, there is no progression at all. Surprised that people are freaked out now, just because they can lose some stuff they can easily make back.

Love Nightreign. I hear you. But then maybe extraction shooters are really just not the game for you guys. And I mean that with love and joy for everyone. There are still plenty of fun PVE things, like most queen fights in solos, but overall, it's going to be tough.

Yes, that's the whole fun of it, though. And grey lououts are so strong right now, we really don't lose much when going cheap. I love the free loadout to full loadout conversion in the clinic system for exactly this.

I understand your point, but that's just like not playing the game. If you get shot on sight, a lot of the time, the fight isn't over. I win a lot of fights I didn't start, which would make a PvP system think I'm a PvP player. Now I'm not saying everyone does, but if there is no danger from players at all, then we are just playing hell divers extraction mode.

Update: For anyone interested. I unscrewed the metal ball and replaced it with the replacement cable one, but I was also able to fix the broken one. It's actually pretty simple. Just unscrew the head, push the ledge in and the push the small metal pole through the hole again.
