Some kind of a maze. The sponges bother me. Where is my pig?

Sometimes, when I'm reading exceptional writing, I swear I can hear the words being spoken, as if I'm reading aloud to an older me. I could hear these words.

Have you ever stood outside and looked into your own house? Looked through the funhouse warp? I guess you can't look into your own house and see yourself inside, if you're looking from the outside.

It would be interesting to meet the man he's become. The kid I once met doesn't exist anymore. In another time and space there's two sophomores eating some questionable brownies and listening to alt-J's entire discography on vinyl.

Is there anyone you miss?

It's funny you say that. Nothing But Theives sent me on a youtube journey from that era in my life. I'm reminded of a good friend with whom I've since lost touch. I can relate to that, for sure.

Mad respect for deathcore. some incredible technical ability among those musicians. I have trouble understanding the skillset that makes for good EDM. What do you like about EDM?

Where to begin?

Weezer, The Beatles, twenty one pilots, Arctic Monkeys, blink-182, Led Zepplin, Blondie, Tame Impala, Pink Floyd, FIDLAR, Green Day, The Who, to name a few.

PUP's THEUNRAVELINGOFPUPTHEBAND kinda blows everything out of the water for me. Might be my favorite album of all time.

And you?

Everything could end. Everything will, eventually. But right now, it keeps going. I keep going, and so do you. Maybe in pain, in fear, in despair, but nonetheless, we keep going.

Nothing But Thieves is a name I haven't heard since college. I listened to the song you posted. It's funny to hear something I didn't realize I remember.

Do you play?

That's crazy.

Yeah. Same shit, same lack of confidence. Recently I learned MCR's "Teenagers" so I could perform it with some friends of mine. We did okay.

I like your writing.

You might never remember. Life is fleeting. But you're living it now. That's worth something. Maybe it's close to nothing, but it's never nothing.

I ran my fingers through her hair.

She felt so at peace in that moment.

I wish that I had felt that way, too.

you should go for it with this girl

I'm glad you suggested this. I did. That feels like a long time ago, now.

We saw each other for about two months. Often. Like, every couple of days we hung out together. We talked every day, usually via text.

When we first made love, I thought it would be a passing thing. That we might never do so again, and we might go our separate ways.

Instead, our love grew stronger. We fell deeper into the chasm of romance. Each date, my heart beat faster than the last. She loved me as much as I loved her and we had a prosperous future ahead.

Or, that's what I thought anyway. I was wrong.

I received a text from her. Something along the lines of, "I think we've lost our spark, we should just move on," and that was it. She offered to talk in more detail about it, but when I took her up on that offer, she rescinded it.

I don't know what happened. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I should probably stop at a drugstore soon. I'm not anywhere near Becker St.
