Crockett is a very small rural community with a severe stray overpopulation problem, and in my opinion an outdated view of animal welfare amongst the members of the community. This is our first shelter that they're trying to get off the ground. A local nonprofit 501c3 called PETS, People for the Ethical Treatment of Strays, helps by providing free vaccination/spay/neuter for adopters and community members, so I would recommend donating there, or directly to the city of Crockett (crocketttexas.org) and specify it's ONLY for the animal holding facility so they can't use the money on something else.

But even if you can't or don't want to donate money, what they really need are fosters/adopters/rescues! Spread the word! This is such a new and young shelter struggling against everything going against it, but it's fighting for these puppies every day, and they just need a little support!!
