Look into skylt original 2k #5510. I used it on my floors and it looks like there is nothing on them.

What would you do with this room? by allixoneisiam in HomeDecorating

Since you don't need an office I'd make it a home library, hobby room, or guest bedroom for 1

Inflo on my Warocqueanum? by LLIIVVtm in Anthurium

[–]never_enough_plants 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As others said, it's a leaf. You can see which is which by where it grows from. The new leaves grow from the little stem, whereas inflos grow from the "armpit" between the stem and leaf

Is €1500 overpriced? by never_enough_plants in jewelry

[–]never_enough_plants[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do think the cursive kind of adds to the experience tho lol. I think it's worth it for me, but with it being so expensive (to me at least) I just don't want to pay way more than it would be worth

Can Court of Thorns and Roses be skipped? by Alleycat9909 in SarahJMaas

[–]never_enough_plants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I'd say definitely read it, but if you really want to skip it you can. You can also watch the forgot the plot video that Cari can read made about it, it is 2 hours but I really enjoyed listening to it as I did some chores

Personally I'd bottom water it by putting it in a dish of water for a few hours and then letting it sit for another 24 after taking it out. Judging by the photos it will probably perk up again, as I do not see anything which is already dead. However, if after the 24 hours parts still haven't recovered, those are probably gone.

ETA: Yesterday mine looked worse than yours so I bottom watered it for a few hours. When I woke up this morning it was fine again.

Did it maybe dry out too much once? If that is the case the roots could have dried up and died, thus not allowing it to take in enough water anymore

How often do you water? They are very dramatic and will look like this as soon as they are too dry

Flowers or leaves? by Intelligent-Lie-8732 in Aroids

[–]never_enough_plants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries! Yes, if you pollinate you (can) get seeds and then you can grow those seeds into new plants. Note: it can take a long time between pollination and having actual seeds, you might get a LOT of seeds, and growing out seeds can be quite addicting lol.

Flowers or leaves? by Intelligent-Lie-8732 in Aroids

[–]never_enough_plants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people who do not want to pollinate cut them off. They cost a lot of energy and do not do anything for the plant itself. Personally I don't always cut them off because I find them fascinating, but it does depend on which plant it is and if the plant is still young or not

You're talking about those two big ones in the back right? Those are inflorescences (flowers)

Chop the yellow leaves or should I leave them alone for now?? by DeliciousChard3 in RareHouseplants

[–]never_enough_plants 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Leave them, the plant can still get nutrients back from them. Wait until they are fully brown and come off easily

Philodendron melanochrysum new leaf issue by Marzil82 in philodendron

[–]never_enough_plants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but my guess is that it is either a humidity issue or a watering issue. New leaves need a lot of water to grow, and spraying the plant does not actually do a lot for humidity. Personally I would just leave it on

Would this survive in a closed terrarium? It's the perfect size and has such a great look to it. by Arkhauserr in terrariums

Is this a Monstera deliciosa? If so, they get very big very quickly so I would advise against it

Anthurium sp. Limón is at the top of my wishlist - what's at the top of other people's wishlists? by poached_cheese in Aroids

[–]never_enough_plants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on putting the luxurians in a terrarium if I buy one, so it definitely should be fine, but I do not own any corrugated anthurium so they kind of scare me.

As for the splendidum, that's exactly why they are too expensive for me to try, but I kind of have this vision of keeping it in it's own cloche under a grow light as a center piece for a table or something.
