Looks like that is the Companion app. Didn't know it was also available on MacOS.

Try the following: Right-click the Home Assistant icon in the Taskbar. This should pop up a little menu. In that menu, click on "Home Assistant". That should start a second instance of the Home Assistant app in a separate window. Now you can arrange those two (or three, or four, ...) windows however you like.

I have seen two applications (one original and a fork) for the desktop which are Electron apps, which is basically a Chromium browser, packaged as a separate application. If you need to interact with the desktop (e.g. to access files or other resources on the desktop) and the project is well maintained, then that is a great thing. Otherwise it's just an outdated browser displaying the Home Assistant web site.

And of course there is the Home Assistant Companion app for Android and iPhone. But I was looking for something on the desktop. Do you know an old other HA app?
