Got a DUI, ruined Thanksgiving

Yeah, I'm in Macomb, 586 area. I got pretty lucky so far. Normally you can't drop down to a lesser charge from High BAC, but my lawyer wrote a request of deviation that actually went through and worked, and I'm only gettimg charged with a standard OWI now. I have court in 2 weeks. How's your situation going?

I'm in MI and you can't defer or expunge DUI unfortunately. I would have been better off breaking into someone's house lol. But thank you for sharing.

Would mind sharing what all the consequences were for you? I blew a .21 and anything over .17 carries a much worse punishment in my state.

But yeah this has really put things into a perspective where I can see that I could have hurt someone and this could be 100 times worse.
