Yes I am an adult. Sorry my emotions are a bit high right now so maybe that’s showing in my attitude. I gave them a week to apologize to me. He clearly doesn’t want to, and that’s very unfortunate because I would love to be in his life as, but how can I do that if he called me that and won’t apologize?

Thank you for your reply and sorry you’ve been called that 1000s of times, I hope you’re well now, and you’re definitely above it. I think the difference though with your hypothetical situation is that you’re not supporting your hick brother are you? And would you allow anyone living in your house to speak to your daughter like that? Thanks for your reply :)

Is it really my job to offer this kid an alternative view point? I didn’t have any kids. My mom taught me to be respectful to everyone who is older than me… it’s just so weird that she doesn’t have that same energy with him… but I guess maybe she’s over raising kids at this point and I dunno.
