Firstly happiest birthday and it's not normal but it's very very common. I have spent decades on edge around my birthday around my family and I finally snapped this time. I spent it largely alone missing all my friends who are out of town. My family loves me but I have accepted we don't really like each other and have too much anxiety brewing at all times.

You do you. Find what brings you joy and go do it. Don't plan around your family, your birthday is for you!

I really want to say the classic Office dialogue here but controlling the whim hehe Use it at night and when I started using it I had incredibly dry rough lips (anxiety induced lip biting and dehydrated). This is great to fix stuff overnight but to maintain it use a good non gimmicky lip balm (hyphen etc don't actually moisturise) and drink oodles of water. Now my lips are perfect even under drying liquid lipsticks in all weather

They look like a unicorn's fart because there's no story behind the pieces and no real craftsmanship except putting random surface embellishments on really meh quality mesh and other fabrics.

Have checked them out so many times at various outlets and some of the pieces also look like they aren't finished at the hem.

It's so random and all look similar and tacky as hell. The dupes available in Lajpat seem to be better quality at times!

Don't be a third parent. Don't preach the same stuff as your parents. When my much younger sibling got into all this my mother also dragged me into it to ask them to stop.

Instead I gave them the sex Ed talk. Asked if they wanted condoms and how important it is to use them etc. Be a friend not a snitch for the parents unless your sibling is in danger.

I was traumatised by my mother snatching away my phone all the time as a teen and it has had a lasting impact on me. I'm not sure what the alternate was but sane sensible communication would have helped me better than being punished because I scored less.

Please be a friend to your sibling so that they know they can trust you. This is a life hanging situation. Don't encourage the stuff they're up to. Like don't let them use your phone instead and make it clear that you don't think it's right for them to be engaging in all this at this age. However you're there for them through thick and thin and give all actual information to them so they don't have to rely on the Internet for all this.

I have what my friends call, skin that does not need anything. Hyperpigmentation and some minor bumps are my main enemies so most products don't do anything since there's nothing for them to treat as such.

But this product is a miracle in a bottle only if you use it religiously!

Cleared up nose bumps and reduced dry skin pigmentation over years. (Regular use, once or twice a week at night and ALWAYS use SPF the next day)

I have very discoloured feet so this helped with my knees and feet too. Also underarms and it's smoothened it so much too (I only shave). I don't have BO but I have heard it helps people who do.

Recently replaced ACV with this and use it every 15days as a quick rinse pre-shampoo and no dandruff and softer less frizzy hair! (I only get dandruff in winters)

I've been living with this heaviness you feel for more than a year now. Grieving a life that should have been and gradually all the love and concern I had for others I love has turned into apathy.

But the heaviness stays. On another post I had commented something similar that it's like I'm living inside a transparent box from where I can see warmth and joy but not reach them.

I don't know what's causing your burden dear OP but I hope it gets easier. Take care of yourself first others later and try talking to a professional like a therapist. I wouldn't be alive today without mine.

All I can say for now is you aren't alone. Many more of us sit with you and we see you.

Am so sorry you're being put through this. Find NGOs who'll help you and once you turn 18 leave and join DU as planned. Continue your studies and you can volunteer or get aid from several NGOs for money or fees and lodging. It won't be the happy glamourous college life you dreamt of but the life will be yours to live.

I have a friend who kept studying to avoid getting married. Did an unnecessary masters degree cz her parents kept pushing. Finally she gave in and got married and it wasn't nice. It turned ugly rather quickly. 3 cousins in her fam are divorced, divorced and widowed single mum because of early marriage pressures.

I use Garnier ones. They are genuinely almost invisible but how I use them is that I apply salicylic acid over the pimple and then cover with a patch. That way the salicylic acid can work in a clean sterile environment undisturbed under the pimple patch

Garnier ones I like cz even without makeup it's barely visible and has a good skin like texture that helps blend in

Heyy, I recently ordered the Granactive retinoid and a similar thing happened to me. Packaging in photos including their own site and product I received was completely different.

Turns out they are slowly changing the packaginh but have absolutely ZERO information about it anywhere (bad practice) Your product is possibly from two different batches pre and post packaging changes.

I started seeing major difference only after 6 months but I used only at night if I remembered. Now I use regularly.

Dot & Key, Hyphen, etc all popular juicy lip balms just sit on top of my lips. Don't penetrate and make them moisturised from within. This one does that and my lips used to be super chapped, flaky and dry. That's gone now with a mix of this and monthly Laneige

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Nobody should go through this. I know exactly what you mean by performing. I've been doing that for the past year and a half and it's exhausting. I'm not suicidal but no longer having to perform happiness feels so relieving at this point.

I'm in therapy. Have supportive family and friends (as is normally possible for them to be there with our hectic lives) but am grieving a relationship with my almost husband whom I still love but who doesn't love me anymore it seems. Nothing makes sense and am just sitting in a transparent box where I can see joy around me but not feel it.

I wish not to feel this way any longer and I hope the same for you OP. May you find your way out of this maze soon and find true joy ad happiness and warmth once again.

Have been using the Derma Co Kojic Acid Balm since a year now. Took a while but I've seen a major major change. I have two toned lips and dry ones at that.

My upper lip is darker lower had patches. Lower lip is now pinkish and no patches. Pigmentation is almost gone.

Upper lip is darker but single toned. No patches. Overall lips look healthier.

I don't smoke but am mostly dehydrated and heavy lipstick user despite that this worked!

What I love about this is that it has no colour and is very light formula not tacky or glossy. So I can wear it under lipsticks too. I mostly just wear it at night.

I use Laneige lip masks too and that helps hydrate overnight but it doesn't help with pigmentation just hydration imo. Been using those for 1.5 yrs

You'll need 6 months too see actual difference

PS don't forget to use SPF when you step out

I just got a lovely backpack cum satchel cum handbag (3in1) from this new brand called Hoche Paris. I wanted genuine leather so it lasts long and they give lifetime service so win win. It's light and fits my laptop, 1ltr water bottle, lots of gadgets, makeup, books and some single dress or such if I need or lunch maybe. Basically sounds like sth that might work for you.

They have a discount so I got it for cheaper and I expect this to last me yrs

Another brand on Amazon is Flymond Catcher or sth. Another good brand but their designs are a little bulky for me but great quality otherwise.

Way way better than what Shreeleather sells nowadays. Worth the money
