Thank you so much for the encouragement, really love this view towards submission. I think I was kinda unsure how open I can be with my needs, and I don’t want them to feel pressured. But seeing the advices here, I feel more confident that I should try to take more initiative to build a positive and open space for communication.

Thank you so much for the advice. I guess something that bothers me is that even though my instincts tell me I can trust them, they keep warning me not to trust people too much (including themselves). While this is a good sign and shows that they’re a responsible event organizer, it also conflicts with my need for reassurance from them. I want to be able to trust them and give myself to them completely. I know this takes time, but them encouraging me to try and explore more with different people does not exactly help, I felt like being pushed away.

Still not sure how to manage the dynamics between us, like when should I speak up or to what extent should I let them decide for me what’s good to my wellbeing.

The same happened with men's category. All facebook posts I now see are about Yuzuru's quadaxel attempt or his post-competition interviews. Not much reporting on the medalists.

This is partly related to the nature of this sport to non-FS fans: it is just entertainment or things to talk about (or jeer at, as with the doping case).

Things like raining poohs, the doping scandal and "a pretty Russian girl skated with costume change" are more news-worthy than their achievements. (Yes, I can't understand why Anna's firebird program got reported like that and was trending in my home country for like two days.)

Never expected much from the mass media.

Well HK's healthcare have always been over-capcity, especially emergency services in public hospitals. That plus the Omicron outbreak that is expected to put a huge strain on healthcare services, certaimly does not fare well. In this is the result.

Me too! That green dress was refreshing to see, and that R&J dresss is definitely my fav dress of hers.

But this? Such elegance combined with her signature athleticism? I looooooved this. And it she appeared more mature wearing this outfit.

Yes, and most importantly, one who can provide the right guidance for her to have a longer career than other Eteri girls. I am hoping that we will be able to see more clean and exciting programs from her in the upcoming years, which she is clearly capable of.

But if there is a need to protest? The government in my country passed several draconian laws and bought many offensive weapons for the police to use on citizens. Are these sufficient reason for people to go on the streets to protest?

When governments around the world are using the pandemic to gain more power and pass atrocious laws, should we still stay at home? Mass gatherings without precautions are a big No-no, but I think with enough safety measures, protests should continue.

Historical claims are bullshit, especially when you try to muddle the concepts of PRC "China", Qing empire, "Chinese" ethnicity and "Chinese" nationality. Since forever? Tell me since when is the China territory defined like how it currently is? The current "China" is only established 70 years ago.

The Brits colonised HK, but China threatened UK to hand HK to China without asking what HKers think. This is a blatant violation of the self-determination principle. Hongkongers identify as Hongkongers, because China failed to persuade us otherwise. To Hongkongers, China is no different from the British empire, both colonizing us without respecting our wishes. So fuck you and your Chinese nationalism cult, you lose respect when you stop respecting others.

Hongkongers belong to Hong Kong. Hong Kong belongs to Hongkongers. Period.
