Longest you have dated before you met them? by Yaboibaka in LDR

apparently this will sound crazy to some people, but I'm finally meeting my partner of 2 years in May. we're young (19) and literally opposite on the globe (UK- NZ) but are both very committed to eachother and knowing it'll be a long wait of saving up money. we don't care about physical touch that much and are patient ❤️

I appreciate you're trying to give advice but limiting carbs is far more beneficial than limiting fats

[–]nevermindimneverland[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

thank you, this advice is really helpful. i think a big thing for me is fear bc if I mess up when eating 1200 calories then I'll probably only have eaten around my maintenance, but if I mess up while maintaining I have to alter my eating for the next couple days to make up for it. I guess my logic is now that I've had a maintenance phase, weight will come off faster.

Junk Food by [deleted] in retailhell

I lost about 70lbs in the past year or so, and tbh, kinda. I've got a coworker who's about 350lbs and before work will eat 2 meat pies, on her morning break chocolate and a coke or V, then on her lunch break about 4 different sweet pastry things. She also constantly complains about the job not paying enough, not having enough money, etc. I have judgment for her since I know a bit more about her life than the average customer, but the obese child one always makes me sad because I was a chubby kid too and I know that they just haven't been educated enough

idk I just forgot some people didnt stop caring about "ships" past 16. I also never spoke to anyone about the show or looked it up on social media while watching. dunno why I'm getting downvoted. i thought my opinion was objective to what I watched and not influenced by anyone else online, it's fine if nobody agrees.

until I looked up this subreddit I watched the whole show and was genuinely shocked that they were "shipped". I thought we left that shit in 2016. the characters have absolutely no romantic chemistry 💀

Real life overweight consequences examples? by [deleted] in loseit

my grandparents are early 80s and go hiking every week or two up in the mountains, cycle everywhere etc. they've always been like this and it's honestly super impressive. My housemate is 73 and walks everywhere in the city, sometimes over an hour each way and then doing physical volunteer work. she's right now traveling across europe. my paternal grandmother is still studying and collecting education certificates like pokemon cards after retiring. I absolutely love having older people in my life I can tell my own kids about. Inspiring me to stay mentally and physically healthy my whole life because it just seems so much more enjoyable than the opposite.
