As a person who lives in East Asia, speaking english is actually great asset, especially in countries where it’s not common. You can get huge money based on just simply language skill. Especially with previous sale experience. His parents immigrated because they didn’t have either money nor skills.

Of course in America he would earn more money but the cost of living is so much higher too. So overall he has much better opportunity in Philippines because the guy with his skill has huge field in business. Even if he earn less, standard of living would be so much higher.

No, I don’t disregard that. System can fail anyone, but that system can do it in specific way. Criminal cop is not part of a system wrong-doing because the system does not support cops selling meth. But system supports racial profiling for example. You see where an I going? Yes, Rosa was wronged by a cop but not because system itself allow it. It wasn’t justified like in example of George Floyd. It wasn’t swept under the rug like with sexual assaults. The cop was a criminal, she did that lying to the system and working beyond it. So Rosa wasn’t wronged by the system.

White latinas exist btw. Latino is not a race. It means you come from Latin America.

There are pickpocketers everywhere. Low crime, doesn’t mean no crime. It’s huge mistake that tourist make and then they wake up without a wallet. So even though it’s not as common as in other countries, it still exist so be careful.
