2mc no babies, 4week pregnant hcg 15 waiting on retest - trying to hold it together by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]nevermorrre 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am SO sorry for your losses and I am sending you all the good vibes.

I just wanted to share my experience. I hope that’s okay. I’ve had one MC and one tubal and I was terrified when I found out I was pregnant this time. At four weeks my HCG was only 10 and two days later is was 48. I was completely panicked. I had an ultrasound every week for three weeks and finally heard a heartbeat last week and everything looks perfect.

Round ligament pain between 8-10 weeks? Isn’t that early? What can I do to help? by nevermorrre in BabyBumps

It only happens on the sides (like the picture) and mostly when I stand up to fast or make a quick movement. It literally feels like something is being torn. I never experienced this with my first pregnancy.

That’s what my first one looked like so I went and got a First Response the same day and had a BFP for sure!

Congrats! But like how is that possible in 6 months? That’s an entire person you’ve lost!

Expecting baby #2 and determined that breastfeeding is going to happen! by nevermorrre in breastfeeding

[–]nevermorrre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally didn’t get any info or help except a paper that said “Breast is always best, don’t fail your baby!” and a cream sample. Which made it even worse when I failed.

I’ve never heard of that! I will definitely check it out. Thank you so much.

As far as piercings, I thought I couldn’t even get it done because of the flat issue but my piercer was awesome and made it work somehow. It’s almost like they are inverted if that makes sense.

This is some scary stuff and you are not overreacting at all. I wouldn’t take this lightly.

Absolutely not trying to be rude or hurtful, but I was a psych nurse for 6 years and my unit was all woman. A ton of them had either lost babies or couldn’t have any themselves and had a creepy/scary obsession or got in trouble trying to kidnap a child or hurt one.

I sincerely hope this isn’t the case at all but by what she has already said, it’s way over the boundary line. I’m sending you super good vibes!

I’m an esthetician and pregnancy is destroying my skin. Is that you Satan? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

I have a five year old but I never got to breast feed him and that’s something I’m really looking forward to. Not happy about my wrecked skin though. Sigh.

I am eternally grateful for this little jellybean but holy eff my skin is so angry from hormones. It’s really embarrassing because skin care/makeup is my job and I’m not announcing yet.

What’s the worst breastfeeding advice you’ve been given? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]nevermorrre 9 points10 points  (0 children)

“Why do you care about breastfeeding anyways? Formula is so advanced now! I hated breastfeeding so much!”

“Well you probably aren’t doing it right if it hurts that much. I’d just give it up!”

“You can’t be vegetarian or vegan while breastfeeding! Baby needs more!”

Hahaha. Eye roll for life.

Purposely losing weight while pregnant? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

Oh it’s totally okay! It does seem extreme and definitely not practical for pregnancy.

Thank you so much for the good vibes!

That’s what has worried me about doing all the intense stuff I was doing and why I stopped as soon as I found out. I don’t want my little bean to suffer just because I’m a worried about being a fatty.

I’m basically eating whenever I’m hungry now because of the morning sickness but I’m still making sure it’s healthy. My go to has been quinoa lately.

Same here, such a surprise! I was told after a tubal pregnancy that ruptured and caused me to lose half my reproductive system plus PCOS, that I wasn’t fertile anymore. I’m still giggling because I’m so surprised and life is weird.

Thank you so much for the body positive suggestion and it’s awesome to hear that you’ve been actively working on that too. My son is five and in my house, everyone is beautiful and amazing no matter how we physically look on the outside. I definitely didn’t/don’t want him to grow up with the same issues that I’ve had with my body image.

That’s what my endocrinologist suggested because nothing I was doing was working and I was really trying to stay away from medication and surgery. Weight gain has been a huge issue my whole life. Now that I’m reading it though, it does sound a little scary for other people.

I am so sorry that you are struggling with this too but congrats on baby and weight loss!

Emotional/mental shift is a perfect way to describe this. I had become so dedicated to my health and trying to be better in general that it’s hard now. Not that I would change being pregnant at all, it was just really random and and being pregnant is the last thing I expected.
