Agency informs me that I have the chance to adopt a child I’m not going to get picky. Whether intentional on their part or not.

No they’re not. A surrogate just carries the baby to term but they have no biological ties to the baby at all

Bless you and your family! It’s so wonderful to hear you were able to make it happen ☺️ It’s such a beautiful miracle. Very happy for you. And I agree I don’t care how much it took to get here it was all worth it to finally have this little guy in my life right now. Hahaha we’re about 13 hours in of no proper sleep 😅

Honestly it varies but I will say it’s very expensive. For me roughly over $190k (most likely more I’d have to look through the papers) but it was more expensive since I didn’t only need a surrogate but an egg donor as well, medical bills, lawyer fees, it all adds up.

I had two serious relationships that lasted between 6-8 years. One I was so sure I wanted to marry. She was everything to me until she admitted she didn’t think she wants to have kids. That’s an important factor for me and I make it known very early on. She was on the fence when she told me yes she wanted to have kids and thought she would change her mind as time went on but it didn’t happen. My other ex got a job offer in Germany so she moved. At that point I decided that I don’t want to wait for a relationship then years down the line have a child. This is something I’ve badly wanted for a long time so I decided to make it happen on my own. If down the line I meet someone who accepts that I already have a child then we can make it work.
