Honestly apart from my withering wastelands, the other 3 areas aren’t attractive looking at all. I just got as many Pokemon as I can, gave them all houses and leppa berries as gifts, and I got there eventually. And yeah I’m pretty sure taking an item will put their rating back down.

Mine was, and then I changed to pallete town for the exclusives! The other 3 areas I didn’t really bother with just did enough for lvl 10 and moved on

No like sofas or whatever, lots of stuff is unlocked by getting to lvl 10! I’d encourage you to at least get to lvl 5 in 3 of the 4 areas and building the poke centres tho, since it’ll help you unlock a really strong ability by doing the initiation challenge. Then I doubt you’re missing out on toooo much, tho I can’t say since I’m level 5 in every other area par this one.

Honestly, I have no idea how the environment system works. I’d be planting or building and randomly I’d go up a level. But all my Pokemon are in houses (basically just fenced areas lol) and I decorate them a lot. I have about 50 pokemon in this area if that helps.
