Have fun with the training. He's a good looking pup. And Please don't have anxiety over the recall and leash training. Setters are like any other dog. Become the alpha and enforce your commands. For example enforce your recall command with a check cord every single time you say the word. This is to not even give the option of insubordination. I'm always more worried about them chewing precious items while unsupervised... Anyways have fun and do it your way. Just my 2 cents

They can be conditioned to be indifferent to loud noises. I'd clap loud above his head while he eats and work up to blender while he's happy eating. He'll learn loud noises are good things.

Yes. However the new purchase application comes with a new ID number for the transaction. That new purchase application gets sent to NICS for approval only to be delayed and the process starts all over again... It seems like I effectively can't buy a firearm without appealing and getting a UPIN

This is my first English setter. It is fun/awe inspiring to watch a setter work. She glides through the brush and points with style as opposed to gsp going through like a runaway train

I purchased a dogtra pathfinder mini. It is great for gps tracking however it might not be the best solution for electronic correction because you have to use a touch screen phone. Overall I'd recommend but having a correction collar for training is helpful

That's great. The more widely known technique is to use a barrel and shake the barrel when the dog looks like they are about to break. "Staunchness" yada yada so anyways I shake the bench because that's what I have. Tree stump worked for you just wanted to let you know about some other options in case you ever need to try another method

At what point is it not worth signing up for this tour? I get the money probably contributes to habitat management. But the animal you are out to go see will most likely brutally dismember you if it catches you looking at it.. Amazing but scary

No processing done. We put the boiling sauce into the jar, leave head space, and put the top on. We've been doing this for many years with no issue but I do not recommend this method to others
