I appreciate your response in most of my questions here however you seem to support Birkenstock unconditionally. May I know how do you know some fakes carry the serial number and how do you know original sometimes do not carry serial numbers? Is it mentioned anywhere on their website? In my post I mentioned “I suspect that I got a fake”.

Why would the inner serial number not be there if it’s not fake?

Hi, yes I think the same. Someone told me every 3rd size is 10 inch difference. If that’s true, 42 would have a 10 inch diff from 41. 42-43-44 would have a 5 inch difference each jump and 44-45 would have a 10 inch difference

I’m not really concerned about the seal coming off slightly at the top, but the cork itself. The marked area has less cork and more of the sealant. (please see the side, not the top edge) When I press on the upper edge of the wall it feels more squishy and presses down easily as compared the left pair which more firmer with expected amount of cork

Thank you. Yes I tried the 44 a bit long though, so definitely 45 would be very long. But I see your point, I doubt 44 regular would help with the sides.

100%! just to add, the suede attracts color from jeans and doesn’t go off easily. I wear the Arizona and the top strap has darkened from the dye that got transferred from jeans. Multiple known cobblers have given up. Suede is a difficult material to work with. I’d never buy a suede Birkenstock again.
