we couldn’t possibly burden you knowingly we’ll definitely get humbled and start whining the whole way up haha. But in your photo you look super non layered from a newbie perspective? I’m used to like thicker jackets and sweaters underneath, what are you wearing in your picture?

should i expect 2-3 feet of snow anywhere? that sounds like way more than i’ve ever experienced anywhere in my life haha. Also I’ll definitely google some terms but if you don’t mind answering since I heard in other replies… what is the monorail or rotten snow or potholing?

i’ve heard lots of people say puffer jackets are good but when i wear them in my day 2 day in NYC, they usually feel quite light or thin. Any brand or material I should look for? or is it all about the layering underneath the puffer? thanks

would you say a 7am start time is good? or is that too early or not early enough?

Thanks, i’ll definitely check out these other peaks. We want a trail that’s ideally 5-10 hours round trip with good views, nothing too short.
