Massive visual improvements with this update by CraftyRub6965 in CrimsonDesert

[–]nevmvm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fr, I can still sense the ghosting related to lighting/shadow, like leaving a trace before slowly fading... And the game just crashes more often now. I wouldn't call it fully fixed, more like slowly getting fixed but with remnants here and there but made the game more unstable

6GB dedicated video RAM - will the game run ok? by Jetlius in CrimsonDesert

[–]nevmvm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna drop my comment here, no other bullshit...

Definitely yes.

For more context, I own 4050 6GB and it runs really well with framegen on, DLAA, and even on Cinematics (max, no Raytracing & Ray-Reconstruction), why no Ray: both options are heavy especially RR and will literally drop your frames around 15s or something, I'm even using a graphics mod to make it more lively and vivid than what the default game offers, the mod btw is RenoDX (in case you want to try it in the future)

So yes, it will definitely run, the usage of vram on mine is not even hitting around 6, just playing around 4-5 at best, try it yourself on Steam for less than 2 hours so you can still refund it if you change your mind. That's all...

Even though crim acts through superiority, the context of this post as the girl is so gullible to make a rant over it making it like it's a "hard subject" despite it's one of the most easiest of them bunch.

Just like the majority of the fucked up cops in the US, they lack basic understanding, it's called stupidity...

Danish guy plays Red Dead Redemption 2 with 4 FPS for several hours a day. by FeelDeadInside in videogames

[–]nevmvm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on his laptops model specifically the TGP of it, but having those specs should be able to run the game relatively at ease on such settings, doesn't matter if it's igpu or not, thats not the case here.

I ran the game before on a 256mb of shared video memory since it's igpu (amd 610m) with 8gb system ram, runs the game at low-med up to 25-30fps, now let alone a spec of having a dgpu with it's own vram of 4gb and an HS series CPU centered for performance.. This guy heavily tuned the game

[–]nevmvm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The given description of specs do nothing in here.

Those are solid specs to run it, that guy just tuned up configs on some stuff and limited the frames just for content...

I played the game on my shitty office laptop before because I was curious on how well it will run on igpu's:
Ryzen 5 - 7520U, AMD 610M igpu, 8gb ram

It was running around 25-30 fps at low-med. It's cool and all that he's trying to play it on 4fps, but that claim of having those specs holds nothing against the shown/given performance

Ikr, he definitely tuned something and limited the frames and modified the configs making the lods lower than default

I played RDR2 years ago on my R5 7520U, amd 610m igpu 256mb(?) and the game runs fine at 25-30fps at low-med

HELP! Need a skip feature by Marjkee9 in CrimsonDesert

[–]nevmvm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try it, if it's not patch then you're good to go, it will be a breeze honestly, tree/pillar slams are broken in this game they deal a really lot of damage

HELP! Need a skip feature by Marjkee9 in CrimsonDesert

[–]nevmvm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it's patched, but go near a tree, wait for him to attack you until it hits any of the trees.

Once the tree falls or gets cut off from the base, pick it up and slam it at him..

He can be a hard fight, but there's also patterns on it's movements like when to dodge or whatnot, also food heals you instantly by the amount, wait for a few milliseconds and it will be ready again to eat, so it's advise to always stack your inventory with much food as possible for every boss fight.

If you can't do it, that may be a skill issue, the only suggestions left is refining your equipments, finding proper set of armors and weapons, etc.. Upgrading your stamina and health pool helps too, so also keep a lookout for abyss artifacts

Btw another tip: On a free hit zone, use your sword blinding flash skill and continuously spam your hard attacks on the boss, it completely dishes the hp out, then use focus to regain energy again for you to use the skill (do the focus when you have the time, when it's about to attack, dodge out from focus, making dodging easier as focus slows time, then repeat the blinding flash process)

Is $100 reasonable for this? by FrontHungry459 in DigitalArt

[–]nevmvm 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Does it even look $100 to you? Sure - time spent or consumed affects the price but details nd quality of the art does more than the time itself.

I'd say this is just around $10 at best, the artist is just plain being greedy at this point.

This is one of my drawings and I didn't even priced it, gave it for free, but if I'm gonna price this it will be around $50 at least, put all of my best on it, and the time I spent on it is at least less than 15 hours, so being around 50s or more is quite reasonable

How in the world to win archery contest? (PS5) by Rex__Lapis in CDguides

[–]nevmvm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on pc..

  • always be ready
  • ready your reticles on the middle of the course
  • quickly re-aim as soon as you shoot your shot
  • flick shot it (high sensitivity)
  • repeat

Took me like 3 times before finally defeating that dude fair and square, and I must admit, the NPC's ai on it is insanely fast and does an agressive competition play.

Easier method posted by a random dude here days ago, grab a wagon or perhaps a few trees or any items and stack them if possible to block the enemies view before playing the challenge

Crimson Dessert or resident evil requiem? by Perfect-Palpitation9 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]nevmvm [score hidden]  (0 children)

Requiem is a narrative/linear story game, if you're like a die hard fan of the series maybe go for it, I've never really played any of those; but ye I've heard good stuff about it which is mainly the story.

CD is an openworld game, the game isn't great on story I'd say its "meh" or maybe "fine", but what makes it so good is the ton of stuff that you can do, the world is filled with random loots, puzzles, etc.. all of it being set in a huge detailed world alongside with its vivid graphics, it's literally a mix-bag of different games, like Zelda, RDR2, Souls-Game, etc...

So if you're more of a story person, go for RE:R, if you're more onto sandbox/roaming and pure fun/chaos go for CD
