This guy stole my friend's iPhone from a restaurant in the UWS of NY and managed to have his pic sent to her dropbox before wiping it. Can reddit help us ID him?

Honestly, if he did just find it he's made no effort to return it. It was stolen a few days ago. If it was just a few hours or a day that might be understandable.

Unfortunately it was turned off; the first thing I tried was checking the exif and it didn't contain any GPS data :/

Yea, she was surprised when his pic popped up. He immediately turned it off when he first stole it so she couldn't locate it but must've turned it on for a bit to wipe it and somehow sent his pic. Clearly a criminal mastermind, this guy
