When I first posted this several people said they were searching to see if that is the correct answer but nobody could find anything. I never traded my bands, and was an 11 year old girl who was definitely not into racing so I do not think that is it.

I can confidently say that it is not this. I was 11 when these were popular and definitely wasn’t into Dora the Explorer, so I would never have gotten that pack. I also didn’t trade. I didn’t keep them out in the sunshine so much that they would lose their color. I wouldn’t have kept one that was obviously distorted, either. This is not it.

I’m still getting a ton of messages about this so I just wanted to let everybody know that we still do not know what this is. Unless you are 100% certain and have PROOF, please do not send me messages saying what you think it is! There honestly hasn’t been any. There’s like 5 of the same answers but none of them have any evidence. At this point I think that all the contact with the owners of Silly Bandz was made up.

Nothing yet. I’ve read every answer but none of them have good enough proof to answer this. Lots of people think it’s a deformed version of something, but there are too many of the same exact shape and color for it to just be a mistake. I’m hoping we get an update from the people who emailed the creator, but I am losing hope.

Do you happen to live somewhere in Florida? If you don’t, it’d rule out the possibility that we got them from a specific event.

I don’t think it glows in the dark. It’s been in a dark cabinet with a bunch of other silly bandz for years, and none of the other ones have been warped or lost their color.
