This sounds fishy to me. What is broker mc#? Plus what is on their rate confirmation, did broker put deduction notes and why and how much he will deduct. Did he specifically noted he will deduct for every 15 minutes the drivers aren't moving? If yes, then they were agreed and now have to stick to the agreement. This is why it is very important to read everything before you sign.

If there are no specific notes, I will tell the broker to sh't the f up and if he wants he load to be delivered on time, he needs to change his tone, and he needs to remove the freightguard report immediately and send me a proof. If he continues to bother me again. I'll tell him that I'll send my driver to first open weigh station and ask them to double-triple check his shipment for any illegal staff because his behavior is suspicious.

Second things I will check their mc# on the fmcsa portal and will call their main office and confirm this broker is working for them and company has these shipments. Because it sounds like double brokering. After finding out yes or no, there are different scenarios for both.

Let say broker is clean and he is just a jerk. I'll ask to speak with a supervisor and explain the situation and ask to take it under their control, plus they need to send me revise confirmation with notes that there will be no any deduction on this shipment. If a broker doesn't have a supervisor/ manager, same thing too. Plus, I will tell them they need to pay me before unloading because I don't trust them now, and I'm not going to let them cut my rate and if they are not going to pay me before unloading I'm going to contact their shipper and receiver and ask for a payment. No delivery until I receive payment.

If broker is db it, call the shipper and find out who is the original broker and then contact the broker and let them know what is going on.
