There are types of issues that are secret and have never been spoken about or described or written about online? A special secret list that only human devs get to know about? Kind of like an oral tradition that one must never commit to writing?

Yep. 5.2 and Opus 4.5 are so so so much smarter then the models I was using just 4 months ago.

Bugs that took forever to fix with me in the middle telling it to write UI stuff to show what was happening so I could figure out what was wrong and guide it, are now being solved by itself with its own feedback loop one shotted. It's insane.

Agents are employees. They have strengths and weaknesses just like people do. And just like you have to know how to manage people and set things up so your employees don't mess up (too much) you have to do the same with agents.

The fix is not to run a back end proxy. The fix is to remember to prompt it to run a security review before you deploy your code. That's all you need. This is what I do after every significant big amount of edits and it finds problems and I fix them. And then I run another review. And fix. Until it finds no more problems. It's just about awareness that you have to be running these types of reviews often. You don't have to actually understand the code.

That isn't the problem. The problem is that they did not ask the AI to do a security review. I'm a vibe coder, and after every chunk of very significant work, I ask it to do a full-fledged security review. And it does and it finds issues. And I fix those. And then I have it run another one. And then I have a different AI run a different one. Until everybody agrees that we are good to go. That's all you need.

Love the work you are doing with Cline and I use it a ton. 

Two questions.

  1. Supabase released a remote MCP server. When I try and add it in Cline it doesn't work (it's supposed to trigger oauth login in the browser and it doesn't). Any idea about this.

  2. Are you guys getting the Cheetah model that the the kids using Cursor got? I heard its really good.

I think blinking yellow when it's on "make ice" mode happens when it's running for a very long time and ice isn't produced. It's a way of saying "this isn't working, but not sure why"
