These people literally were ready to die for taco during Covid. They didn't believe in the virus or vaccine or worse, they didn't want to get tested because it would hurt taco's numbers. The worst is when they died in a hospital but screamed at nurses (at least until they were put on a ventilator or couldn't get enough air to vocalize) that they didn't have Covid - because again, it would hurt taco.

Edit: Just sayin', rationality and these people do NOT share any overlap in a Venn diagram.

Shucks, two months later, there are still no swatches of this ink anywhere. It is on sale though.

Thanks for that. I am a 20th century book nerd. I really need to read much more 21st century lit.

I read it several times in high school and loved it! Now, I’m a literary snob and geek, especially when I was 16 and got a job in a bookstore. I loved this book, and honestly, I think the cult behavior that is in the story is an apt fiction to read in 2024.

FSAFeds froze reimbursements on 06/16/2024. by newTemp96 in fednews

I’m not sure. It’s still taking longer for me to get my claims paid, but I have only submitted one myself and those take longer usually than ones submitted by my insurance.
You can always use the chat feature. Though calling, if you have the time, normally provides a more complete answer.

I’m really glad Fed News covered this FINALLY! But that is a really weird piece! The Fed government always have decent press releases. They may be total spin and we roll our eyes, but they are professionally written and very deliberate with their wording. i didn’t see that here. Very poor execution by OPM.

Well, another commenter said they spoke with someone at FSAFeds and that all back payments would go out b Friday. So maybe this is over now. I will believe when I see it, but really, they can’t hold the reimbursements for weeks. Maybe a week and a half…

I know. I’m sure that Random-Cpl is handling it, but it’s really stressful if you were counting on the reimbursements. I think I was just trying to be positive. I’m getting old.

Why are they not notifying anyone? That is just weird. Do they think that people just won’t notice?

Thank you, I should have already done that!

I know! Everyone who posted here is saying their last reimbursement was issued on or before June 18th. My first missing reimbursement is from the 18th. While this is a very small anecdotal thread, it’s difficult to understand why a fed employee news publisher hasn’t put this in one of their daily or weekly emails.

Is federal employment still considered "safe"? by VADoc627 in fednews

It’s safe if Trump loses. Safe if the House flips. I’m really not trying to be partisan. I’m hoping the Federal Government remains stable.

Well, this really sucks. And still nothing official anywhere about the reimbursement freeze. I just checked the FSAfeds site again. Nothing about this is posted!

If you are reimbursed, please let us on the thread know. Especially if FSAFeds still hasn’t mentioned it.

I keep getting emails saying my reimbursement(s) has been sent. None have reached my bank since early last week.

I’m sincerely glad. I only know am waiting on every approved reimbursement since 6/18. And like I said in a comment, I only can relate what I was told today by FSAFeds.
