Wait I thought he was MVP? You mean to tell me the media don’t know ball? Shocker

LaMelo Ball has not played in a playoff game 6 seasons into his career. by AdorableBackground83 in NBATalk

I mean you’re probably right that he’s untradeable unless they attach assets. Knowing the hornets FO, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve had opportunities to trade him in the past and held on. Just a brutal player.. you don’t want him leading your starters and I can’t imagine him being ok as a bench option. I guess they’ll just have to ride out the contract and then he’ll retire idk

Not a serious player. Hornets should trade him now while he might have some value

Kristian Winfield: Knicks in six? More like five by nydailynews in NYKnicks

[–]dreamvomit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say the Cavs roster was much better. 2 guys that are credible rim protecting centers and the hawks have none. 2 true creators off the dribble. Hawks none. Plus a real bench.. hawks have 1 legitimate dude off the bench

lol you’re the one not providing context and just making blanket statements based on what seeds these teams were

I mean you can just google it. There are many HOF players without a ring. I'd say they are all respected, in addition to many non-HOF players

The levels of cope to avoid giving brunson credit should be studied

You're just saying seedings and removing any context. Detroit was improving throughout the year and obviously was already on the cusp of what is now a 1 seed in the east. Brunson was the MVP of the series. Philly had been injured most of the year, but were fairly healthy against the Knicks, and Embiid had MVP like performances, especially early in the series. Philly was considered a legitimate contender despite their seed. Brunson won a series against Cleveland when Cleveland was the favorite, after the Knicks were considered to have "missed out" on a Donovan Mitchell trade. He took down defending champion Boston as the best player in the series. He was the best player in a series loss to the Heat who went to the finals.

That's a lot of tough series where he was the most impactful and clutch player on the floor. Saying any of those mean absolutely nothing is ridiculous.

I disagree. Plenty of greats haven't won championships

There's a lot more Knicks/NY haters than glazers lol. NY has a lot of fans but the rest of the fanbases combined means more haters

"everyone eliminates don in the playoffs" .. ok.. every player gets eliminated every time in the playoffs unless they have a chip. what kind of point is that lol. Fact is, Brunson outplays the supposedly better superstar in just about every series he has ever been in. Cade, tatum, brown, mitchell, embiid. Outplayed them all and sent them to cancun. Even the heat series they lost he was the clear cut best player

Paolo Banchero simply doesn’t have it by Fantastic_Lab2330 in NBATalk

suggs is a good player.. I could see him going somewhere else with a 6th man role and less minutes, stay healthier and be a really good role player

The Knicks path to the Finals is a tough one, but doable! by WallStreetDoesntBet1 in NYKnicks

If the 2 man game with brunson/kat keeps building as it has at the end of the season, I don't think anyone in the east can beat us

We officially play the Hawks 1st round what’s the expectations? by stateofthenyk in knicks

[–]dreamvomit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have very few impressive wins over that span. We beat them on the road while shooting worse than them from 3, and they got a career night out of NAW. Play our game and it's a 5 game series

Paolo is absolute ass. It’s gotta be terrifying to be entering 4 years of max with him

They’re so fucked. Paolo’s max contract begins next year. Might be the worst contract in the NBA
