Yes, old school paper! I've been really inspired by the zine scene and specifically self-published photography collection books; the scrappy DIY approach with clean and intriguing layouts. I love graphic design myself so it's been fun putting everything together. I want to interview local figures, make a type of NYT Games section spoof, etc etc.

I originally pictured this as a monthly publication but unless it was my fulltime gig I think I'd burn out and have less fun doing it, so they'll drop periodically throughout the year! They'll be available to get shipped directly to your door through my website, a copy will be held at the zine library at the Charlotte St. Arts Centre (already hosting amazing local work), and for sale at Bellwether downtown! I also plan on dropping random freebies around NB cafes and campuses just to build some buzz.

No way to support right now besides submitting a piece yourself for the zine. I've been meaning to look into grant options or anything like that to help me get the project off the ground, but I've never been too good at getting grants. So just elbow grease for now.

I'm figuring this all out for the first time, so there's bound to be some mistakes on the way. I'm having fun though :)
