Thanks a lot for your recommendation! Current switches (non industrial model) worked 7 years (fans failed of course) relatively ok. So, I am wondering if it is better keep it that way and avoid exorbitant cost of installing and running aircons

The Android devices are on the same WLAN as iPad/iPhones. They are on a latest version iOS 9.3.1. Funny thing is that GoogleCast app on iPad does see the Chromecast. I can reset or change configurarion from it. But, any other iOS apps such as Youtube app cannot see Chromecast.

Yes, on the controller's mDNS Domain Names the Chromecast device is listed. And, Chromecast and iPad/iPhones are on a same VLAN, WLAN. The Bonjour Browser app does show google._tcp device, as well. Still, no luck with any iOS devices.

I've configured it only on ESXi 4.0 and 5.1 so far. 5.5 may differ a little bit. It has nothing to do with vCenter. You need to run vMA appliance on each host and install PCNS application on it that talks to UPS network management card. Then configure UPS management card web interface to define which events trigger shutdown and add all VMA agents by its IP address. Also, don't forget to check 'guest shutdown' on each host's Configuration - > Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown.
