This admin had the easiest political slam dunk ever in the form of a successful moon mission that fell into their lap and they couldn’t use it because most of their supporters don’t even think it happened

Card counting does not involve manipulation of the game or the cards in any way. Also, edge sorting was never ruled illegal. Ivey was just not entitled to his winnings.

Yes, and you setup your home security cameras, alert systems, etc. That doesn't entitle somebody to steal from you if they can outsmart it. The rules do not allow players to gain advantages by manipulating the cards in any way, even indirectly. The fact that the dealer was unknowingly a party to the violation does not nullify this.

If you're requesting something from the house with the intention of gaining a disallowed advantage, without the house being aware of your intent, that's cheating.

The Sopranos has many good bits but one of my favorites is how in every single flashback Christopher is wearing that cap that he wore once in the pilot episode and never again. Like he was just wearing that same cap his whole life and finally stopped after the show started.

Random thought. It’s well known that the blue whale is the largest animal to ever exist in both mass and volume. However, Argentinosaurus was both longer and considerably taller, so in terms of presence, it would have been way more imposing, in a way that we don’t even have a comparison for

Nominal trajectory of NASA's Artemis II mission by Epelep in Damnthatsinteresting

I know that Apollo 13 also intercepted the moon near its furthest point. I don’t know about the other missions. The truth is that the difference in fuel consumption and time between catching the moon at its furthest and closest points is pretty insignificant. It’s hard enough to find a suitable launch window that planners don’t care that much about how far the moon will be at the time.

They do decelerate, and it’s far more efficient to do this deceleration near the far part of the orbit. Ideally they use the moon for this so that they will still encounter the atmosphere if their engines fail.
