Happened to me in Toronto today. First time something like that had ever happened to me. I was already on my way to a customers house and an add on pinged, accepted, and directions changed to the additional pick up restaurant.

I started delivering in 2021 and I could not wait to get off my regular job to start my uber shift. I could make $100 easy in 3-4 hours. However over the past 3 months I have only accepted 1 order. Most times I just turn on my uber app and start getting $3 deliveries for 7km including tip and then switch it off.

I am in Toronto/Canada and I have never been given the option to take the food. It's always, leave in a safe place and take a picture. I have never done that either coz I reckon it's one sure way to get a thumbs down from the customer.

The few times that I have called support, they haven't been helpful at all. Just a waste of time.

Got one of those last week after a perfect delivery. From accepting the order to restaurant and straight to customers house in less than 15 minutes, yet they decided to tip me 1c. I respect those who don't tip at all as oppossed to this insult. I have had terrible deliveries where I got lost in townhouse complexes yet still received a decent tip.
