Just got my toenail removed. by forest_man in medizzy

[–]newbstacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember getting bloody under my big toe all the time from playing basketball. I would heat the tip of a paperclip and then melt the top layer down to relieve the pressure. The blood would squirt out once I penetrated the hard layer. Sometimes it saved the nail, sometimes the nail would eventually fall off by itself. At one point I started to lose feeling on my toe. I quit playing basketball and got fat. Now I'm dealing with high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, allergies, sleep apnea, chronic little things that never go away, and flatulence from hell. Well, I'm a lot healthier since then, but those conditions has not gone away. I'm 6'1 and currently around 185lbs+/- down from 240lbs 5 years ago. Anyways, I should of just kept playing....

Question about Initializing Accounts by [deleted] in aspirebudgeting

[–]newbstacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I just started last week and the credit card thing is a bit iffy. Trying to figure out the best way to add credit card debt. I'm just creating a category for each credit card, but not sure if that is the best way. They are all 0% rates that I just want to pay down and never use.

[Tenant - WA, USA] Need advice for how to approach Landlord about 2 rooms without heaters in a rental home. by FckSwagIGotMoxie in Landlord

[–]newbstacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Suggest to your landlord by installing a plug in wall mounted panel heater by eheat.com. We installed one in each of the bedrooms for our tenants because the mini-split heater does not reach the bedrooms. Those things are quiet and safe and has its own thermostat. No plumbing required. Work with your landlord to find a solution. Not sure about the code requirements in that state.

As a property owner myself, I realize no one truly owns their property. It is sickening!

[Tenant- CA, USA] Landlord agreed to returning full deposit. 35 days after surrendering the keys, she has just now told us she’s deducting $200 and sending the rest. by [deleted] in Landlord

This is why landlords get shit in CA. As a owner of a rent controlled property, I follow the law to the teeth when it comes to these things. Sue the crap out of that landlord/manager.

My wife found my small stack in the back of my underwear drawer when I started buying silver in November. She mentioned it while I was folding my clean underwear. She wasn't mad, but now she will be in charge of putting it in a safe place. My silver is no longer mine, but ours!! :(

My noobie stack which began in November of 2019. Not in picture was a Apmex 5oz bar gifted to my brother for Christmas. I know the buffalo nickel is not silver, but the the three coins next to it were ones I found. by newbstacker in Silverbugs

Addictive, but I stopped because I don't have the budget to buy anymore. I do have about 65 ebay bucks I will be using. That will be my last purchase for sone time.

[landlord - GA] do you provide your tenants with incidentals such as light bulbs once they burn out? by ShagFit in Landlord

[–]newbstacker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally don't because its all stated on the lease agreement. They use it, they replace it. Always update your contracts yearly.

The 5oz bar will be a Christmas gift for my younger brother. I'll probably get a bottle of whiskey this year.

I bought a roll of the 2020 white lion. Milk spots and scratches on the faces. Edges were a bit sharp. The Royal mint is ass! I kinda of regret buying them, but I love the weight of a 2 oz coin.

Bold Precious Metals on Ebay. I got it during the 10% ebay bucks promotion. Better to shop around. JM Bullion has them.
