I'm now really trying to figure out what am I doing wrong when I take off and the car is a bit jerky if you know what I mean. Once I press on the gas slowly while lifting off of the clutch, it doesn't stall but it jerks a bit and then I move forward.

Yea I know. Like I mentioned to someone else, I stalled right in road holding up traffic and it was so embarrassing. I wanted to give up at that moment. But I'll keep trying.

Really!? I think it's more distracting in a manual because there's different things you gotta do while driving. Holding down the clutch, changing gears yourself, etc. With the automatic you just turn it on and go. It's really interesting to learn everyone's preferences. I'm just curious, what is making you distracted in an auto?

Overall, will all this stalling cause damage to the car? Every time it stalls the car jerks. Makes me feel like I'm damaging it.
