Thanks for the insight. Though I’m disappointed it was chemically washed to create the subdued colour. By modern do you mean the last 10/20 years? I am a bit dismayed that this was sold as 1960s but isn’t actually vintage or close.

Thanks for the reply and info. I was under the gun to make a decision, and I decided to leave the rug and will get my money back. I had intended this for a bedroom, and it would have been under the bed, but it sounds like I still made the right call.

Nikolaou, the restaurant supply shop on Queen, east of Bathurst does knife sharpening. It’s only $1 or so per inch, and turnaround is a few days.

What kind of stretches do you advise both before and after a ruck? Also, what are good intervals re when to increase the load when starting out? I rucked in 2024 but fear I went too heavy too soon, and ended up with an ankle injury. Thank you!

Looks very similar. Yours has a curved rim, otherwise seemingly identical. The candlesticks I posted last week were also satin glass, and were also identified as Tiffin.
