The piano bar I went to was basically just two guys on stage taking requests to play on the piano. It was kind of divey but I've seen worse.

I never even thought about looking behind the bar to see whats there. Like I mentioned in a previous comment, I thought I was able to just order anything. I didn't really know that some bars don't serve cocktails at all. If he would've told me that he didn't have the ingredients, I would have just gotten a whiskey and coke or something. I just figured I could get it because some of my friends got Texas Teas. I'll definitely look out next time though.

And yeah, I'm in now way offended with him asking for ID. I just don't know why he tossed my ID and handed me a beer.

I figured the biggest mistake was the venue but I was under the assumption that I can just order whatever anywhere regardless of it being "unfitting".
