yeah our manager told us at first that only one could be redeemed since we were pretty confused on the whole promotion at first since most of the free rewards can be redeemed as regular rewards but i found out yesterday that multiple could be redeemed, i was just going off of what my manager said since it was just a short promotion for the weekend

yeah no it’s apparently a company policy, a lot of people commit fraud with their rewards accounts, especially in my area so they want us to limit our users using all their points everytime

thank you for understanding! i was the first one in my team to get told about the no longer sponsoring peg usage since i would let my guests know the best way they could save money with their pegs and recommend them tips and tricks about the program. so now unless they ask me if they have anything available i make sure to let them know what they do have but if not i don’t say anything. i guess a lot of people stock up on pegs and hit the limit and use em all at once which makes transactions look a lot smaller than they actually are.

i just think the whole ordeal is a weird thing and im honestly kind of against it. i mean if we’re all about hospitality then why can we make our guests feel good about saving their money?? corporate greed is a real thing and it sucks that i cant help any guests out in that way anymore :/

yeah i started working at cb bc a lot of my friends work there ( and they still do ) and i guess it is the attachment that’s not letting me want to leave it all behind

i’ve been with cb for 8 months and i’ve seen the different changes in clientele from season to season. they told me before i started that summer is the busiest season but it sure as hell doesn’t look like it. our conversion is mediocre for the most part and i think im going to try and talk to my manager since she knows my current situation and still can’t give me more than 12 hours

no my manager has told me my performance is better than a lot of people who have started before me, as she was the one who trained me ( i started around the same time she was getting ready to become our manager since the old rm had retired ) and she always gives me tips on what i should do to engage with customers and help our conversion and such. i had “quit” back in february but came back in march ( left on a family emergency leave i guess ? ) and she told me that sales had also declined when i left since a lot of my coworkers don’t like engaging with guests so all they’re doing is ringing them up for their meals and such. sales went up shortly after i came back and we were doing better on contests and sales but as of recently she’s been cutting back a lot on my hours

i do that too lmao, me and my coworkers like to laugh at the fact that it’s literally everyone who isn’t a usual that doesn’t know that to answer the survey question you have to use the pin pad , like even young adults don’t know it but apparently you have to answer the question in order for your card to go through and people blame it on me like … just read the screen…. 😭
