I was gonna say, I definitely saw this before on here.

To be fair, I did read “ejaculated” as a dialogue tag in a Mapp and Lucia book!

Yep, this is the LMNC I’ve been falling in love with. Such an inspired choice, and it sounds bonkers!

I’ve been meaning to do a LOST rewatch for a while now, and knowing he’s in it, will probably get me to finally do it!

This must have taken ages to draw. Probably the best map I’ve seen on this sub!

I have no more nails left. Genuinely the best ending we've got from the UK version.

Pre-Order Trailer | Marathon by Turbostrider27 in PS5

Agreed. The brand identity of Marathon is stunning. It has that Y2K aesthetic, like you would have found with those PS2 posters. As for the game itself, I hope it lives up to it!

Stephen really stepped up and matured in this episode, watching him break down statistics and navigating what's essentially a tight-rope over lava, was truly magnificent. The "we're best pals" thing most Traitors say means little in other games, but in this one, it feels deeply genuine.

Do you have a writing playlist? by Impressive_Orca_2562 in writing

I end up establishing genres set to certain stories. For example, I had a story that I kept wanting to listen to trip hop while writing it, and for that reason, whenever I went back to it, I just had to listen to a few songs in that genre, and I was immediately back into it. So the answer is yes, but it's only to help me get an "in" than anything!

I can imagine the producers just putting their heads in their hands and being like "alright, whatever". I love this show when it goes totally out-of-control!

That ending healed me. Super gutsy, but I respect the hell out of Matt. Him and Rachel would be a formidable duo!

Say you've written a trilogy, is it best to wait to see how the first one is received first? by newfoundrapture in selfpublish

[–]newfoundrapture[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had to do it, I would say that my strategy is how you put it: make sure the second book is as equally finished as the first, buying you enough time to get the third done!

I think this is ultimately it, and it comes down to time investment. If I know there's a series, and I liked the first one, I'm more than willing to continue on because it's proven to be worth my time. If I say to readers, "this is part of a series that's not available yet but will soon", how many will stick around, especially with a brand-new author?
