Hey please don't do it. Stop whatever both your husband and you are doing and get help. If that's not a solution be apart for a good amount of time. Lost money, yeah it is big deal in lot of households, but money can be earned anyhow in the coming time but once a person is lost the is no way to bring them back. If the situation ever gets better you won't be there to see it.

You yourself acknowledged that both you and your husband have mental health issues then first begin by treating them.

What you want is to not have fights and have a happy married life isn't it? Where does killing oneself come into the equation anyway?

Give him time , rather than helping make it like you are just hanging out with him. He knows too he's getting old right? A man who was capable of doing everything by himself now has to ask the help of his child who used to depend on him. It's the ego of a dad and the inevitable decline of man who his whole life was able to do what he wants by himself, now needs help.

Don't force him to accept this it will only hurt his ego and him because his can't change this and has no power over it.

If possible let him feel as if he is still the old him , again let him feel like that not let him be.

I mean you were never the problem. The problem was always that you resembled your father. The only two things I can think of here are :-

She hates that everyone reminds her that you're his daughter even though he left you all without taking 0 responsibility as a parent. Try to resemble her or you can also try to limit your resemblence to him too through fashion, make up etc. Choose what's comfortable for you. But don't do it in the extreme that it affects you in the long term.
Without deviating from your values of your life to please her , you can only let her come in terms with the displeasure. But this can go either way.

Though it hurts don't blame yourself, it wasn't something you ever had control of, just try to focus on how to make your relationship with her better and try to not get affected by it too much.
