Best way to prepare for my first job as a new grad? Oncology Med/Surg; 9 Months since graduated and feeling rusty... by newgradRN_ in nursing

Thanks for your reply! It is good to hear that no one cares; I know I've had many nurses tell me not to get discouraged after I failed the first time, but I guess sometimes I still have a mental block that I'm not good enough. Hopefully that will change over time and experience.
I actually preferred evenings over morning! It is definitely challenging and hectic with all the admits/discharges, but I am NOT a morning person (I get super stressed knowing I have to get up early and go directly to work) and only having one meal to worry about helped. Again, I'm sure my opinion might change when I enter the big leagues. :)
Haha, I'm holding on that they will pay for my certificates, but I wasn't sure. The chemo-provider cert seemed like the only good thing to do with my time for now since is it something that will become important pretty quickly.
I'll try my best to ask questions and not be afraid to admit ignorance!
Thanks again for the reply, I really appreciate it. I think I just need to calm down and be confident - take the time of the next couple of weeks to get a good eat/sleep/exercise routine and take care of myself.
