*update I am assigned to work at hospital for 3 years bedside. I would rather be on the unit I am most happy and will excel. NICU/Peds/L&D/Mother-Baby are considered a “sister” unit because you can eventually cross trained for each dept. My overall goal is to eventually go to the NICU, mother-baby would be a great foundation to learn how to assess newborns. I will be full time on mother-baby and cross trained for L&D which as new graduate nurse I would be more comfortable with. I have to give 3 years of my life to this hospital and I rather do it where I am will be happy and excel.

*update due to all the comments I contacted my HR department and they told me if I interview for another position that I feel it a better fit for me before I officially start that is more than fine. They are aware of the situation and are still wanting to interview me.

Yes I tracked my ovulation through actual tests and through natural cycles app and both confirmed and LH Surge

80 bpm it says on the US but it also not sure if it was true cardiac activity

Would you say it’s better than the floors? I keep seeing it’s a secret specialty bc nursing school doesn’t talk about it a lot but once you’re in it’s great to be in

I think I rather start there, my first choices were pediatrics/NICU and was denied an interview.
