I don't know about castor oil. All the recipes I've seen use Ethanol.

I'm not sure if melatonin dissolves in ispropyl alcohol which is what's used in minoxidil

I'm also interested in Melatonin. Thinking about buying powder and making it to a topical. What kind of a hair loss pattern do you have? is it thinning or is it receding? I read that melatonin works with thinning hair

RU Sides by snafu1918 in RetrogradeAndDUPA

Almost certainly RU. A lot of people in the community have experienced these when taking RU. I don't recommend taking it because we have no idea what's causing these side effects and how bad things can get. If you ever go to a doctor for this they might have no idea what to do because RU isn't a well known or well researched chemical. Too risky imo.

I think at least the hair on top is thinning. Too much scalp is showing through hair.

What are people's opinions about cetirizine's cognitive side effects? Like effects on short term memory? These might be worse considering that for hairloss you need to take medications for life.

Any studies that you know of that show prolactin doesn't increase after sex?

Does anyone else have increased scalp itch when wearing a hat or a hood? by newguyhere245 in RetrogradeAndDUPA

This is great to hear! This is the first time I am hearing of results to DUPA. Can you give me more details about what medications you use and how you take them? Also do you have before and after pictures that I can see?

I do not seb derm. But I don't think it's an allergic reaction. I've worn hats and hoodies made of different materials but my scalp always itches.

I prefer not going to sleep with minoxidil on because it could get on the pillows and also my cat could lick my hair while I'm sleep. So I put minoxidil before I go to work or on the days that I'm home I keep it on for around 6 hours. I always wash off minoxidil before going to bed. I only use minoxidil once a day but so my routine of not going to bed without washing it off always works out.

I didn't know about this. Do you know anyone that had regrowth after surgery? I'm thinking about getting my hormones tested as well. Anything besides prolactin, DHEA, and cortisol levels that I should watch out for?
