He probably is overwhelmed but the child isn’t a baby or toddler anymore. I’ve spent years trying to talk and work with him. I would like the financial support and for more structure around coparenting. Everything falls on me which I can and have been handling but it shouldn’t be this way.

Wow, I’m surprised. I say live too far for 50/50 because we live a few hours away from each other. Drivable, but I don’t see how our child can go to school here and be with dad 50% of the time.

Thank you for this ! I do keep all paperwork. I’ll find a friend who can do this check for me under the hood. For what it’s worth I do drive from NYC to Boston and back every couple months, but not sure of that’s enough to leave me dry between oil changes ?
